Das französische Label Ed Banger Records bringt die zweite Compilation auf den Markt . Neben Uffie, Dj Mehdi und Mr. Flash sind auch SebastiAn und Justice mit von der Partie. Höhepunkt ist ganz klar Dj Medhi mit Lucky Girl. 2002 gründete Pierre Winter a.k.a. Busy P, der zuvor als Manager von Daft Punk arbeitete, Ed Banger Records. Auf der ganzen Platte ist die schönste Tanzmusik versammelt. Hohen Wiedererkennungswert haben die Veröffentlichung auch durch das Artwork des pariser Künstler So-Me.

Das ebenfalls aus Frankreich kommende Label Kitsuné ist da schon etwas weiter, bisher wurden drei Compilations veröffentlicht und die Vierte steht in den Startlöchern und kusiert bereits als Promo Mix im Netz. Kitsuné steht für ein ganz besonders kreatives Label, bei dem das Zusammenspiel von Musik, Mode und Grafikdesign höchste Priorität hat. Wie auch Ed Banger Records entstammt Kitsuné aus dem kreativen Umfeld von Daft Punk. Die Kitsuné Maison Compilation 3 ist erstaunlich vielseitig angelegt, neben den Elektrobeats von Simian Mobile Disco schlagen The Whitest Boy Alive eher ruhigere Töne an.
